INSURANCE COVERAGE AND PARTIAL COVERAGE

Insurance companies do not cover facial plastic surgery procedures performed solely for cosmetic purposes. Occasionally, there are procedures that have both aesthetic and functional problems treated during the same operation. For these cases, insurance companies may cover the functional portion of the procedure while the remaining cosmetic procedure will be an out-of-pocket expense. Insurance coverage is subject to deductibles, co-payments, and co-insurance, which may be out-of-pocket depending on your particular insurance plan.
